Tyla is a South African illustrator currently living in Barcelona, ES
LONG BIO
Tyla Mason was born November 1993 in the city of Johannesburg in South Africa, as the second of two children to father Wayne and mother Robyn. She was raised in a suburb of Cape Town especially know for its baboons and later attended a Waldorf school, where they encourage their learners to draw without outlines.
In her work, she uses a combination of digital and traditional mediums to create drawings that are character-driven and engaging. She enjoys projects that centre around youth, education and nature, and loves to see her work appear in books.
